About This Project
RecoverKY helps Kentuckians navigate the SNAP system when something goes wrong. It covers eligibility reviews, work requirements, case worker communication, benefit recovery, and EBT card issues. A two-question triage gets users to the right section immediately. There is also a Social Worker view for advocates working on behalf of clients.
RecoverKY/Recipe
recoverky.health/recipe is a companion tool that surfaces state-specific SNAP rules — the quirks, exceptions, and little-known requirements that vary across states. Users select their state and get a plain-language breakdown of what applies to them.
How It Was Built
Built with plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. No tracking, no accounts, no data stored. Policy reflects Kentucky SNAP rules as of April 2026.

Q: Is this an official site?
A: No. It references official Kentucky sources but
is an independent project. It does not replace kynect or a case worker.
Q: Does it store personal data?
A: No. Everything runs in your browser.
